Overview
The Invoicing page is your central hub for creating, tracking, and managing all invoices across your properties. You can access it from the sidebar under Invoicing.
Page Layout
The page is organized into three main tabs:
- Invoices - View, create, and manage all your invoices
- Templates - Set up reusable invoice and automation templates
- Automation - Configure recurring invoice generation for active leases
Stats Cards
At the top of the Invoices tab, four summary cards give you a quick snapshot:
- Outstanding - Total dollar amount of unpaid invoices
- Collected - Total payments received
- Overdue - Number of invoices past their due date
- This Month - Total invoiced in the current month
Invoice Limit Badge
Below the stats cards, a usage meter shows how many invoices you have created relative to your plan limit. Free plans allow up to 5 invoices per month. Upgrade to Growth or higher for increased limits.
Search and Filters
Use the search bar to find invoices by number, recipient name, or amount. You can also apply filters to narrow results:
- Status - Filter by Draft, Sent, Paid, Overdue, Cancelled, or Pending Review
- Property - Show invoices for a specific property
- Tenant - Show invoices for a specific tenant
- Date Range - Filter by invoice date range
To clear all active filters, click the Clear Filters button that appears when any filter is applied.
Invoice Cards
Each invoice appears as a card showing:
- Invoice number (e.g., INV-0001)
- Recipient name and email
- Amount in CAD
- Due date
- Status badge (color-coded by status)
- Auto-generated indicator if the invoice was created by an automation rule
Click any invoice card to see available actions like Preview, Edit, Send, or Mark as Paid.
