    Navigating the Maintenance Dashboard

    Your Maintenance Command Center

The Maintenance Dashboard gives you a complete overview of every request and work order across your properties. Here is how to make the most of it.

    Stats Cards at the Top

When you open the dashboard, you will see summary cards showing key numbers: total open requests, pending requests, in-progress work, and completed items. These update in real time as statuses change.

    Requests vs Work Orders Tabs

The dashboard is split into two main tabs:

    • Requests shows maintenance requests submitted by tenants (or created by you on their behalf).
    • Work Orders shows the work orders you have created from those requests, including vendor assignments and scheduling.

Click either tab to switch between views.

    Card View and Table View

You can toggle between two display modes:

    • Card View shows each request as a visual card with status badges, priority indicators, and quick-action buttons. Great for scanning at a glance.
    • Table View presents everything in rows and columns, which is helpful when you need to sort or compare multiple requests side by side.

Use the toggle button near the top-right of the list to switch between them.

    Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar to find requests by tenant name, property address, or description keywords.

You can also apply filters to narrow results:

    • Status - Filter by New, Acknowledged, In Progress, Scheduled, Completed, or Cancelled.
    • Priority - Show only Low, Medium, High, or Emergency requests.
    • Time Range - Focus on requests from the last 7 days, 30 days, or a custom date range.

Combine filters to quickly find exactly what you need. For example, filter by "High priority" and "In Progress" to see urgent active work.

    Pagination

If you have many requests, the list paginates automatically. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate through results.

Creating a Request on Behalf of a Tenant

Sometimes you need to log a maintenance issue yourself, maybe after a property inspection or a phone call from a tenant. Click the Create Request button at the top of the dashboard, fill in the property, unit, category, priority, and description, then submit. The tenant will be notified that a request has been opened for them.
