    Understanding the Tenant Detail Page

When you click View on any tenant, you land on their detail page. This is the single source of truth for everything related to that tenant.

    Header and Navigation

At the top you will find:

    • A back arrow to return to the tenants list.
    • The tenant's name as the page title.
    • Action buttons for Export CSV, Edit, and Delete.

    Lease Status Card

Just below the header, a status card shows whether the tenant has an active lease or not. If a lease is active, you will see the end date displayed prominently so you always know when it expires.

    Page Layout

The detail page uses a two-column layout:

    • Left sidebar - Key metrics and quick actions.
    • Right content area - Tabbed sections with detailed records.

    Sidebar Metrics

The sidebar displays at-a-glance financial and contact information:

    • Contact Info - Email, phone number, and emergency contact details.
    • Monthly Rent - The current rent amount from their active lease.
    • Deposit - Security deposit on file.
    • Outstanding Balance - Any unpaid amounts.
    • Paid This Year - Total payments received in the current calendar year.
    • Payment Score - A reliability badge based on their payment history (e.g., Excellent, Good, Fair).

    Quick Actions

Below the metrics, you will find shortcut buttons:

    • Open Chat - Starts or opens a direct conversation with the tenant (only available if the tenant has a user account).
    • View Lease - Jumps directly to their active lease document.

    Onboarding Card

If the tenant does not have a user account linked yet, an onboarding card appears in the sidebar. It includes an Invite button that sends the tenant an email with a link to create their portal account.

    Co-Tenant Banner

When you are viewing a co-tenant (someone who shares a unit with a primary tenant), a banner appears at the top linking you to the primary tenant's record for quick navigation.
