    Navigating the Properties Dashboard

When you open the Properties section from the sidebar, you land on the main Properties and Units dashboard. This is your command center for everything property-related.

    Stat Cards at the Top

Right at the top of the page, you will see four stat cards that give you an instant snapshot of your portfolio:

    • Total Properties - The number of properties you are currently managing.
    • Total Units - The combined count of all units across every property.
    • Occupied Units - How many units have active tenants, along with a percentage occupancy bar.
    • Vacant Units - Units that are currently available and waiting for tenants.

These numbers update automatically as you add properties, create units, or change unit statuses.

    Searching and Filtering

Below the stat cards, you will find a search bar where you can type a property name or address to quickly find what you are looking for.

Next to the search bar, there is a status filter dropdown. You can filter your properties by status to focus on specific groups. This is especially helpful when you have a larger portfolio and want to zero in on properties that need attention.

    Table View vs. Card View

You can toggle between two display modes using the view switcher in the top-right area:

    • Table View - Shows your properties in a traditional table layout with columns for name, address, units, occupancy, and status. Great for scanning a lot of data quickly.
    • Card View - Displays each property as a visual card with the property thumbnail, key details, and quick action buttons. This view works well on mobile and gives a more visual overview.

    Free Tier Limits

If you are on the Free plan, you can manage up to 1 property. Once you reach that limit, additional properties will appear with a locked indicator. Clicking on a locked property will prompt you to upgrade your plan. You can upgrade anytime from the Pricing page or the upgrade modal that appears.

    Adding a New Property

To add a new property, click the "Add Property" button in the top-right corner of the dashboard. This opens the property creation wizard where you can enter all the details for your new property.

    Quick Actions

Each property card or table row includes quick actions that let you jump directly to common tasks like viewing the property detail page, editing property info, or managing units.
